The Frantoio was built in 1804 and was a working olive mill until the late 1960s, employing many of the local villagers. Immersed in ten acres of centuries-old olive groves that are organically managed, The Frantoio is now a luxurious countryside retreat with touches of rural simplicity.
The interiors draw on traditional Tuscan architecture with arches, exposed stone floors and wooden beams, refined by modern touches chosen to provide a luxurious and comfortable guest experience.
Our estate and garden is home to a small vineyard, vegetable patch and many plants and botanicals grown specifically for our skincare range, The Face Planner.
